We have been able to complete the conveyor modernization, electrical and automation applications in relation to Oyak-Renault's factory enlargement and capacity increase of the paiting and coating areas in a short period of time. In the control system , we used Telemecanique TSX Premium PLC, PL7-Prodyn Scada software. There are a total of 800 I/O.
The system consist of 16 conveyors in addition to the existing 61 conveyor and 2 elevators. The purpose is to achieve synchronized entry of vehicles into the painting oven: this results in a 50% increase in capacity.
The destination of vehicles exiting the coating unit can be controlled via the SCADA computer, inventories can be updated automatically using a single keystroke. In a similar fashin, the system has allowed the operator to schedule the entry of vehicles into the painting unit from a complete picture of the storage area. The movement of vehicles in the storage area can be followed via the SCADA screen as well as daily statistics.
