4300 tpd kiln line for PIONEER CEMENT LTD in PAKISTAN.

Project of a new 4300 tpd clinker production line which is to be paralel to line 1, erected by FLS with a capacity of 2000 tpd clinker in 1994, was started in 2004 summer. All planning and project works with the listed equipments below were supplied by DEG and DAL Teknik. Plant will be commissoned by the end of 2005.

Plant units:

1) Raw Material Crushers:

· Single rotor, hammer type, 600 t/h crusher (Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

· Double rotor, hammer type, 300 t/h crusher (Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

2) Raw Material Homogenization Stockhall (New):

· Project and imported material supplier (BEDESCHI – DAL)

· 2 x 25000 t capacity raw mix stockhall

· 1 x 5000 t capacity pure limestone stockhall

· 1 x 5000 t capacity iron ore

3) Raw Mills:

· 2 units LM 30.4 type vertical mill ( Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

· New system fan was purchased (DAL Teknik Delivery, New)

4) Clean Gas E.P. System (New):

· Project and imported material supplier (ELEX – DAL, New)

· 500000 m³/h capacity electrofilter and cooling tower

· Dust capture garanty: 50 mg/Nm³

· New filter fan (DAL Teknik Delivery, New)

5) Raw Meal Homogenization Silo (New):

· Capacity: 15000 t

· With under silo LOW-weighing system (DAL)

· 2 units silo feeding elevators (Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

6) Preheater Cyclone System (New):

· Design (ÖMAG – DAL)

· Double string cross flow (4-stage), with calciner

· Steel construction products were sent from Turkey

· 1 unit second hand and 1unit new ID Fan, DAL Teknik Delivery

· 2 units raw meal feeding elevators, second hand (DAL Teknik Delivery), new (Gambarotta - DAL)

7) Rotary Kiln:

· Ø4.6 x 64 m, 3 stationed (Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

· New main drive motors and systems (2 x 315 kW), DAL Teknik Delivery

· New kiln inlet and outlet sealings, new cast segments (DAL Teknik Delivery)

· New kiln hood

8) Grate Cooler:

· Project: FLS

· Complete DAL manufacturing, DAL Teknik Delivery

9) Clinker Transportation and Silo:

· 1 unit pan and box-conveyor delivery

· 30000 t capacity clinker silo, DAL Teknik Delivery

10) Cement Mills:

· 2 units horizontal ball mill, (Second hand, DAL Teknik Delivery)

· Original 50 t/h capacity mills, DAL Teknik Design and Delivery, will be updated to 100 t/h with impact crusher and dynamic separator.

· 2 units 1000 t/h capacity elevator, Gambarotta / ITALY Delivery

· 6 units elevator, Second hand DAL Teknik Delivery

11) Packing Units:

· 2 x 100 t/h capacity new electronic type weighbridges, DAL Teknik Delivery

· 3 units truck loading system, telescopic chutes, 2 units vibrating screen (All new, DAL Teknik Delivery)

· Feeding hopper elevator, Second hand DAL Teknik Delivery

12) Electric-Automation:

· All system projects will be performed by DAL Teknik and DAL Electric&Automation cooperation.

· Automation software, set up, equipment delivery, commissioning and engineering works will be performed by DAL Electric&Automation.

· All essential parts will be supplied by DAL Electric&Automation.

· Raw mill main drives; system fans, motors and starters (4 units, 1500 kW), rotary kiln main drive (2 x 315 kW) DC-Motors and DC-Drives; clinker cooling fans, motors and frequency convertors (12 units); impact crusher motor (8 x 250 kW) and soft starters (4 x 250 kW) will be supplied by DAL Electric Motors and Drive Systems.

13) Assembly and Commissioning:

· Our mechanical and electrical engineers with the techical staff (app. 50 people + local contractors) have been carrying out assembly, maintenance and project supervising tasks in Pioneer Cement Plant since the beginning of 2005.

· Our 5-person engineer team will move to Pioneer Cement Plant in June 2005 for electric-automation works and stay until the commissioning operation.

· Local experience subcontractor:

Total 10 contractors; mechanical and erection (6), civil contractor (4)
